Ch a multiple of 6 plus 3.

Row 1: Dc in 4th ch from hk, dc in next 4 ch, *ch 1, sk 1 ch, dc in next 5 ch; rep from * to last ch, dc in last ch, turn.

Row 2: Ch 1, sc in 1st 6 dc, *ch 1, sk ch-sp, sc in next 5 dc; rep from * to t-ch, sc in top of t-ch, turn.

Row 3: Ch 3 (counts as dc), *right post st in next sc, dc in next 3 sc, left post st in next sc, ch 1, sk ch-sp; rep from * to last 6 sc, right post st in next sc, dc in next 3 sc, left post st in next sc, dc in last sc.

Repeat Rows 2 and 3 for pattern.
