This design uses 3 colors: Colors A, B, and C.
With Color A, chain a multiple of 5 + 3.
Foundation Row : Sc in the 2nd ch from hook and in next ch, *ch 3, skip the next 3 ch, sc in each of the next 2 ch; repeat from the * across.
Change to Color B, turn.
Row 1 (WS): Ch 1, sc in each of the first 2 sc, *ch 3, skip next ch-3 sp, sc in each of the next 2 sc; repeat from the * across.
Change to Color A, turn.
Row 2: As Row 1. Change to Color C.
Row 3: As Row 1. Change to Color A.
Row 4: As Row 1. Change to Color B.
Repeat Rows 1-4 for the pattern.
