Trefoil: [Sc, ch 3, sc, ch 5, sc, ch 3, sc] all in ch-sp indicated.

Ch a multiple of 7 sts plus 3.

Row 1 : Sc in 2nd ch from hk, ch 2, sk 2 ch, sc in next ch, ch 3, sk 1 ch, sc in next ch, *ch 4, sk 4 ch, sc in next ch, ch 3, sk 1 ch, sc in next ch; rep from * across to last 3 ch, ch2, sk 2 ch, sc in last ch, turn.

Row 2: Ch 1, sc in 1st st, ch 2, *trefoil in next ch-3 sp, ch 4, sk ch-4 sp; rep from * to last ch-3 sp, trefoil in last ch-3 sp, ch 2, sk ch-sp, sc in last sc, turn.

 

Row 3: Ch 6 *sk ch-3 sp, [sc, ch 3, sc] in next ch-5 sp, ch 4, sk next 2 ch-sp; rep from * across to last ch-5 sp, [sc, ch 3, sc] in last ch-5 sp, ch 2, sk last ch-sps, tr in last sc, turn.
