Row 1: Ch 5 (counts as first dtr now and throughout), skip first sc, *skip next 3 sc, 1 dtr in each of next 3 sc, working over last 3 dtr made, 1 dtr in each of last 3 skipped, rep from * across, 1 dtr in last sc, turn.
Row 2: Ch 5, skip first st, *skip next 3 dtr , 1 dtr in each of next 3 dtr, working over last 3 dtr, 1 dtr in each of last 3 skipped dtr, rep from * across, 1 dtr in top of turning ch, turn.
