Row 1 (WS): Ch 2 (counts as hdc throughout), *FPdc in next 3 sts, dc in next st; rep from * to last 4 sts, FPdc in next 3 sts, hdc in last st, turn

Row 2: Ch 3 (counts as dc throughout), dc in next 3 sts, *FPdc in next st, dc in next 3 sts; rep from * to last st, dc in last st, turn.

Repeat Rows 1 & 2 for pattern.

Border:

1 row: Dc in each loop around blanket.
